October ♥

As October draws to a close, I have been reflecting on the month that has past with fond memories. While I always look forward to November and December for the Christmas time, I have grown to love autumn so much in the last few years that I am sad to see the end of October. This month I feel like I have started to make peace with the year that has passed so far, and I am excited to see what lies ahead for the future.

This month we met up with friends and had a lovely walk out to some local-ish places in our area, it is always so nice to meet up with them and go on walks around new places. I love seeing them and their baby as he grows and changes, he is like a little ray of sunshine and truly adorable. We had a lovely day out and I know over the Christmas time we will be able to do lots more things together and makes lots of nice memories. This is a photo of my husband and I on our walk and I think it is a lovely picture of us, especially as we never seem to take many of us any more.

As a little tradition we have set up, we like to go pumpkin picking in October and the place we go is always wonderful. Full of beautiful pumpkins at a reasonable price, we make a whole morning of it and really make a point of exploring the whole patch for the best pumpkins. Not only this, but I love popping into the farm shop to find a few extra treats, from cake to coffee and everything in between, it makes lovely memories!
Along with that this month, I have managed for blog most days, successfully weekly vlog a lot of the things we have done, a highlight being the table tennis at Roxy's Ball room, lets say I am not the best at table tennis, but I had such a laugh that it was well worth it! I also went out for afternoon tea this month with the girls from work which was lovely, afternoon tea always looks a little deceiving, the cute cut up sandwiches and the scones and cake all look like they wont fill you to the brim, but they do! I ended up having my slice of cake as a takeaway option as I couldn't fit it in at the tea room!

I am also very proud of myself for what I achieved this month as I started going to an aerial hoop class. I have done something similar in the past, but I feel like starting a new class is always scary.I started going with two of my friends and I love it. I love exercising, but I either like to be on a treadmill, doing weights or feeling like I am just having fun and not noticing the workout. While its a challenge and aerial is a hard sport to master, I can feel my body getting stronger as the weeks go on and I know that in a few months I will have built up so much strength again and be able to do so much more than I could do recently since I stopped working out.

The month has had a few ups and downs and while I want to focus on the ups, as this year has felt like a huge downer, I do think it has been a month of pushing myself and finding the work balance I want to have. I want to be able to blog 2-3 times a week, post 2-3 times a week on my main channel and do at least a weekly vlog each week too. Hopefully by the end of the year I will have mastered it and going forward I will be able to create more stable levels on content across my platforms.
