Autumnal and pumpkin themed treats

We are all familiar with the pumpkin that graces the holiday as a jack o lantern, the pumpkin soup and a Starbucks pumpkin spice latte, but today I wanted to share a few easy ways to incorporate pumpkin and autumnal themed treats into the month, from food and drinks, to beauty and bathing! Pumpkin isn't as big in the UK as it is over in America and so up until a few years ago I hadn't really tried pumpkin or pumpkin spice properly, but now II feel like it is such a big thing that everyone has tried.

First up lets do food themed products, I love that pumpkin themed products are becoming more accessible and main stream in the shops as I am sure a few years ago you could only buy and actual pumpkin and that was your lot. I first branched into pumpkin themed products after trying the Pumpkin spice latte at Starbucks a few years ago and then in recent years discovering the Beanies coffee in the pumpkin spice flavour. I love these flavours and think it is a great way to get in the autumnal spirit, and having the instant coffee at home saves me not only the money of a Starbucks, but also the petrol I would have to use as I live no where near a Starbucks! I was recently pumpkin picking and went into the farm shop while we were there and they had a pumpkin pie coffee syrup by a brand called Quarter past who I had never heard of but I have to say this sounds delicious and I am so ready to try it out and put it to the test!

Moving onto the bath and beauty treats I have an obvious choice, it is the Body Shop vanilla pumpkin shower gel, I am currently on a use it up mission with this one, you may have seen it feature in my project pan for autumn, and I am pleased to say it is slowly but surely on its way to being empty! I have to say though I do like the scent of it, I just would like to get through a lot of what I own and use up a lot of my collection. The next thing I have been loving this month is my Naked Heat palette from Urban Decay, I feel like I have so much make up and I stopped using this for a while, but now I am excited to be using it again. The warm toned shadows are easy to work with and create lots of looks, while encompassing the warm autumnal leaf colours as the season changes. I have reached for this a lot this month and I am so glad I have done as I have loved the make up looks I have created with it.

I would love to know what you have been reaching for this month as the seasons have changed as I am always on the hunt for new things to try out!
