October Roundup

October has felt like the year has slowed down a bit and I don't really know why, I don't know if I am usually so preoccupied with Christmas at this point that it seems to fly from now until New Year, but I am glad it seems to have slowed as I always say how quick the month has gone when I write up these posts. This month I have made some really exciting plans for November and December which I am so excited to share with you. A lot of this I will either vlog or at least blog about, so you will get to see all of that too!

First up this month I have spent so much quality time with my husband, it has honestly been so lovely. We both get so busy and wrapped up in our own thing that we forget to stop and really just take the time to look out for each other and spend time together. We have been on some nice walks, and we have done lots of fun things together and it really has been nice. We have picked pumpkins this year which is new for both of us, the actual going to a farm part anyway, and I had so much fun that I vlogged the trip here, we then made a video of us carving them and making the designs, which is a lot harder on a giant pumpkin! You can find the carving video here. Not only this but we had so much fun making treats for the season that I feel like we have to do it again at Christmas, you can find the gingerbread ghost train video here if you want to have a look at it and have a laugh!!

I am so proud of the fact I managed to not only keep up with the every other day uploads over on my YouTube channel, but I totalled 20 videos, which means I did four extra videos than I planned to at the start of the month, and I had to move my favourites and empties to the start of November as I had no time to put them on my channel the last two days as I had other content planned. I feel so proud and I am so ready to tackle Decembers challenge of uploading a video every day, if you have any ideas you want to share with my for those videos do let me know and I will do my best!

I have been to some really cool blogger events this month, one of those was the Intu Notts bloggers event where we got makeovers at counters in John Lewis, and then got to have a trends challenge in the centre. I have done a blog post all about this event here if you want to pop back and have a read. I had so much fun and I am always grateful for these opportunities. I also got to go to the Bluebird Tea co opening in Nottingham which was a wonderful opportunity, and I will definitely be shopping in there more and checking out more of their tea as everything I have tried is delicious! If you want to see more about this event you can find the blog post here. The last event I went to was with Prezzybox, it was the Jingle Mingle event and I had so much fun, seeing the product in person to get gift ideas and then experiencing making my own perfumes and meeting TalkBeckyTalk, it was such an amazing thing to get to do and I am so grateful to have made it onto the list of bloggers invited. I vlogged the event and you can find the video here should you want to see what we got up to!

I have honestly had an amazing month, it seems to have gone so fast to start with and then slowed down some towards the end, but I know the next two months will be wonderful and filled with lots of magical events and I cant wait to share them all with you! I would love to know what you got up to in October, so do let me know in the comments as I am always interested to find out.
