L'Oreal Pure clay Glow mask

I love a good face mask, and enjoy testing them out so much that I couldn't wait to test more of the L'Oreal ones. I reviewed the detox mask that was also in this kit a while back here if you want to see that, as well as the purity one being reviewed here. I was so excited to try the glow mask as there have been so many of these launched I have been so excited to slowly work through and test them. I decided to give the glow mask a go and see how it worked out for me.

The mask came in a little pod as it was in the multi masking kit, however the full size products come in lovely square glass jars which are very substantial and look very expensive in packaging. This mask is a brown-terracotta colour and has little particles in it that help to exfoliate the skin when removing the mask.

The mask was thicker in texture than I expected but after working it in my hands for a few seconds it warmed up and applied easily to the skin. the mask applied so nicely and felt soft on the skin which I like as I don't always like the feeling of a heavy mask so it was nice to almost feel like I wasn't really wearing it. The scent was pleasant, similar to other clay masks, while being not too strong and non offensive. I couldn't really detect the scent when I was wearing it, so I was glad about that as I know from a review purpose some people don't enjoy the stronger scented face products.

I left this on for around ten minutes in order to get the full benefit from it, and was then able to wash it away. I used a flannel and worked the product into the skin massaging the face as I removed it to benefit from the little particles in the mask which helps to scrub away any dead skin. I feel like this worked so well on the skin an I was so impressed with the way this worked and how light it felt on the skin. The mask didn't dry to a stiff mask which is better as that can be uncomfortable sometimes, so I was happy to comfortable wear this for as long as I wanted to.

The mask left my skin looking refreshed and glowing, while feeling softer and smoother to touch. I think my skin looked somewhat clearer, but it is hard to judge from just one use, so I feel I would have to buy the larger jar of this if I was to really test that out. The sachet style pods are 10ml and they enable you to get two uses from them which is amazing as normally these are retailed as single use sachets and don't have enough for more than one application. I feel you get a good amount of product for your money with this and I am very excited to see what the other masks in the range are like when I get round to trying more as I have really enjoyed the ones I have tried. If you want to shop the mask you can find it on Boots here where they usually have some sort of offer on in order to get a little bit of a bargain, it currently retails at £7.99 but at the time of writing this they have a 3for2 offer on which allows you to get three items of skincare (within the offer) and get one of the completely free, a great time tot stock up on masks! I would love to know your favourite mask in the comments as I am always on the hunt for new ones to test out, and do let me know if you have a favourite from the L'Oreal range.
