Taking control of my wardrobe

I bet there are a few things you don't know about my Saturday posts and how they get put together. Every week I find myself in the same complex situation, I either wear the same thing i wore the weekend before to go out, or I stay in and wear my pj's all weekend. Well that's ok but when I feel so passionate about sharing content and wanting to share fashion related things with you all its a pure nightmare.

I have been shopping about 3 times in the past two weeks, not to mention the times I pop through the shops on my way home from work. Out of those shopping trips, where may I add I have saved some money and could treat myself to quite a few new things I have bought a grand total of: 1 pair of jeans. Mostly because I just do not like anything I can find in stores. I feel my style has completely gone out the window, I don't really know what is in fashion to even try and keep up and when I do try things on my body confidence is so knocked down I don't even want to know what it looks like.

I get to Saturday and I always want to share quality content and post about what I am wearing and what I am doing and I end up in a virtually identical outfit to last week. I know I don't have to put up daily posts and its my choice, but I do always love blogging, I'm just struggling massively with fashion at the moment.

I'm tired of looking in my wardrobe and having nothing to wear. I'[m tired of looking for shoes to match an outfit and being lost in a sea of shoes I don't wear anymore. I'm tired of liking things in shops and convincing myself they wont suit me, or I have nothing to match... So I have decided to take control. I have one more week at work and then I have some time off and I am going to full declutter my wardrobe, shoes and bags. I always shy away from getting rid of things too much as I get scared I will be left with nothing to wear, but this time I am going to be so ruthless that if I don't like it any more it has to go.

I don't aspire to have a capsule wardrobe and I don't want to declutter and then spend loads on new clothes because I feel I need to, but I do want to make sure I have a wardrobe of clothes I love and want to wear as I find it so demotivating and stressful picking out what I want to wear when I go in my wardrobe as I have so much I don't love anymore that I end up wearing because I don't really know what else I should wear.

I have a couple of events coming up over the summer and so I am hoping to be able to do some shopping when I am on my way to those in order to spend some time in other locations and seeing other things. The other problem I have is my body shape, I get to a really good place at the gym and see changes and then I seem to end up not going for a while, my op knocked me off the gym for 6 weeks recently, and then my clothes fit differently, I don't know what size to buy in anything for the changes when I go back to the gym and all round just feel really crap when I go shopping for clothing.

I really want some style inspiration and would love to see OOTD or haul's you have done recently, so please do link them below, also let me know if you want to see any of my downsizing as I don't really know if it is worth sharing or shall I just do it and not really say much more about it? I just hope I can feel more inspired in the future, and it may help with having some time off work soon I can really focus on what I am loving and what my style is.
