Kiehls Olive fruit shampoo and conditioner

When I went to a Kiehl's event a few months ago, find the post here if you want to check out the post, we got given a little goody bag of samples to try and I was really excited to be introduced to more of the products. I was so excited to find a shampoo and conditioner in the goody bag as I wouldn't think to get hair care from Kiehl's as it just isn't the first thing my mind jumps to when I think about the brand. I have been testing these out and really getting to see what they perform like together and I want to share my thoughts on them with you all!

The shampoo comes in a bottle in all sizes, while the conditioner comes in a tube right the way up to the 1L which comes in a pump bottle. The conditioner comes in a squeeze tube in all sizes except the 1L which is also a pump bottle for ease. I find both the bottle and the tube really easy to work with and convenient for getting the product out to use.

Both the shampoo and the conditioner have a lovely consistency, both white in colour the shampoo is slightly thinner than the conditioner but they are both an easy to manipulate and work into the hair with the shampoo creating a nice lather and the conditioner coating the hair to leave it feeling soft and silky.

The shampoo and conditioner were both easy to apply and easy to rinse out leaving my hair feeling clean and soft after use. I don't have overly dry hair but it is drier than it has been in the past and so I thought this would be a great time to try these out. I found them to be super nourishing and hydrating on the hair, and if anything, a little over nourishing on my only slightly dry hair, so I feel they would be really good for dry hair which they are marketed towards. My hair felt very soft and looked healthy and shiny when I had used these and was easy to manage in terms of brushing and styling.

Overall I think this is a great shampoo and conditioner for dry hair as it made my hair feel really healthy and nourished on the ends where they are more dry than the rest. I find they are really nice to work with and think, although pricey, if my hair was to get in a dry condition and I wanted something I feel would work well and bring it back this would be a nice combination to do so. While I do recommend these, I think they definitely are only suitable for the dry and undernourished hair as I did feel that if I used a bit to much it made my hair look slightly greasy a day or so earlier than normal due to it being a little over nourished when less dry towards the end of the bottles. The Shampoo comes in sizes from 75ml to 1L and are priced between £9 and £50 on the Kiehl's site here, while the Conditioner also comes in sizes from 75ml to 1L also ranging from £9 to £50 on the Kiehl's site here. Do let me know in the comments if you have tried these, or your recommendations for shampoo and conditioner you have been loving as I always enjoy testing out new products to see how I get on with them!
