Sleek Blush by 3 Lace

Sleek is a brand I hadn't used for such a long time, and then getting a set for Christmas has really kick started my love of the brand once again, I have tried so many things from them recently, and the blush palettes are a perfect way to get three similar shades of blush but ones that are different enough to feel you have a selection still. I love the idea of these and the colour selection gives versatility while being in the similar colour family.

The palette comes in a beautiful matte black packaging that is compact and convenient, making it perfect for travel or storing. The palette has a mirror in the top which is the length and width of the palette, it has no distortion and is perfect for using to do your make up on the go, or if you want mirror to use for close ups without leaning into your dressing table mirror to close. The three pans are of equal size and are a really great size. You get a lot of product for your money and the pans are big enough to easily fit a blush brush into them without catching the other shades.

The first shade is a beautiful orange colour, I get so nervous about orange tones on my skin, and worry it will make me look a little over done, but this is so pretty blended out and worked into the cheeks, it gives a nice tint of colour that can bee sheered out with more blending or built up if you want a more intense look. I can see this being one I use a lot in the summer as we get warmer weather.

The middle shade is a lovely rose pink shade with golden shimmer, a stunning shade that offers shimmer and highlight to the cheeks without having chunky glitter or too much shimmer. The shade gives a beautiful flush to the cheeks from the pink toned base while the golden shimmer adds a glowing look to the cheeks which make you look healthy and radiant, which I love.

The final shade is coral toned shade, in the images it looks very similar to the first shade but with a pink tone mixed in. This is a beautiful middle ground between the other two shadows, the coral offers a tint towards the oranger shades if you are shying away from an orange tone but want something different to a true pink, but offers the elements of a pink flush to the cheeks without the shimmer if you want a more matte cheek look, or wan to use a different highlight look.

I have been testing out all three shades over the past three weeks and adore them all, they work so well, blend nicely on the cheeks and last all day with my make up. I think my favourite shade has to be the middle shade, it is such a beautiful pink tone and the shimmer makes it seem so unique and look beautiful on the skin.

The blush palette retails at £10 and has 3 blush shades, the single blush colours retail at £5 for 1 colour, so this is a really great value set if you want a mix of colours. I think this would be a perfect palette for someone getting into make up who wants to start using more blush shades as there are 8 different palettes to chose from based on your make up colour preferences. I am so impressed with this, I have my eye on another one of these so I will be sure to update you if I end up picking it up in store when I am next by a sleek counter.
