Nuxe huile prodigieuse golden shimmer multi usage oil

Nuxe is a brand I haven't tried before, their oil gets a lot of hype online and I have seen good reviews of it in the past. When I got this in my Look fantastic advent calendar I was skeptical as I am not always overly keen on body oils, but was excited to give it a go. I put it off for a while as I was scared it may leave my skin feeling greasy, despite reading other reviews and it being a 'dry' oil. Having tried it, I wish I had a party to go to!

The oil comes in a lovely glass bottle, this is 30ml, but the full size is 50ml. The bottle is a lovely substantial glass bottle, that reminds me of either a nail polish, or tiny perfume bottle, it is a lovely size. The lid is a beautiful gold that sets the packaging off nicely. I love that you can see the product as it is a great for seeing how much you have left when you start to get towards the end of the product.

The oil is a clear liquid that has a lot of bronze shimmer in the product making it look like it is a bronze liquid. The liquid is quite thin to work with and does have a dry oil feel, it isn't greasy at all. A little bit goes such a long way with this that you don't  need to use a lot. I applied a small amount to my palms and then rub my hands together before distributing it over my body. I particularly like to use this on my arms and legs as the oil sheers out to just a subtle shimmer than made my legs look amazing.

The oil did leave a slight film on the skin, more of a soft nourished feel, but I did get into my pyjamas after using this and giving it a minute or two just to be sure it has sunk in. I didn't think this was the most nourishing body oil I have used, however It does leave my skin feeling soft and smooth. I think for me, this oil will become a 'going out' product, if I am going somewhere and want a shimmer and glow to my skin that is subtle but gives a beautiful edge and makes me look healthy and glowing in a way I cannot use fake tan to do.

The Nuxe oil is £20, currently on offer for £16 at Look fantastic here. I don't go out to parties, or events much, so I don't know if I would buy this again. but if I went out a lot, or was the sort of person to wear shorts or skirts in the summer I may use it regularly to give my arms and legs a little bit of a glow to make them look a little healthier. For me, I wont pick this up again, but I would be interested to try the non shimmery version to see how it compares.
