Lush intergalactic bath bomb

Lush is a place I love to pop into and have a look around, I especially go in when they have their limited edition collections, so the permanent range usually gets over looked by me. Just before Christmas I popped in to Lush to get a gift for a friend and I was having a look at the bath bombs and decided I had to get one of the Intergalactic bath bombs as it looked great! A lovely bright blue with pink and yellow stripes on the bath bomb, promising a blue bath with a hint of colour.

The bath bomb is stunning in colour and really does remind me of space and planets, and the glimpse of glitter on the bath bomb really does give the impression that it will make the bath look amazing!

The bath bomb is a combination of peppermint oil, grapefruit oil and cedarwood oil, it smells nice, but the scent wasn't very overpowering and not as strong as some of the other I have used, in my opinion, I don't know if this is because I have had it a few months and the bag hasn't been fully sealed so the scent can escape, but it was a nice scent all the same!

I dropped the bath bomb into the water and it began to gently fizz away into a sea of blue, gently floating around the bath as it went along. The water turned a beautiful shade of blue that reminded me of the ocean and made me think of a tropical warm sea that I wished I was beside. The pink and yellow began to fizz away around the  blue leaving beautiful coloured streaks in the water to mix up the look of the bath bomb.

The bath bomb has popping candy in which I didn't know, well had forgotten, when I first put it in the bath, but it made a great effect to the bath and made the fizzing experience more interesting and fun, I think this would be a nice touch if you get these for younger children as I think they would find it quite fun.

The bath bomb is £4.25 so it is a slightly more expensive one from them, but this is definitely one I love and will pick up again in the future. The bath was a beautiful shade of blue, swimming with golden glitter that was so stunning and photographic, and, as I said above, reminded me of the ocean. I used this bath bomb after a particularly stressful and emotional week, possibly more on that topic later down the line, but I was able to sink into the bath and it was so relaxing and calming that all my troubles seemed to float away. I was so pleased with this bath bomb that I definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a colourful, glittery bath bomb.

  3. Gotta love Lush - I had the ultimate bath last night with a bit of The Comforter Bubble Bar and the Sakura bath bomb. Heaven! Although my daughter is only three, she already had a penchant for bath bombs and this is one of her faves 💗 Great review sweetie.
