Sleek vintage romance eye shadow palette

Sleek is a brand I have used a lot in the past and have had a range of products from, but somehow I forget to shop the stand a lot. I really like the look of the make up and it always gets amazing reviews, but for some reason I just forget to shop their stand or I'm rushing around for that product I need to try and completely forget everything else! This palette has 12 shades that will allow you to create a range of different looks from something more neutral to a stand out colourful smokey eye. The versatility is definitely a selling point.

The pallet is thin and compact and easy to store or travel with. The palette has a big mirror on the inside opening lid, you may be able to see the brief reflection of the shadows in the mirror but it spans the length and size of the lid of the palette and is so useful especially if you are traveling as it is so easy to hold and use while you do your make up.

The colours in the palette are lovely and have a beautiful range of neutrals with a silver, blues and cranberry style shades mixed in as well as a deep shimmery black to give you the opportunity to use it as a liner or a shade to darken up the crease and create a smoky eye. The shadows are highly pigmented and last a really long time on the eyes. I am a firm believer in eye primer to secure everything in place but these hold up as well as my higher end eye shadows with my primer and I use a cheaper one from the high street regularly.

The palette is functional and easy to use, the day to night element of the the palette makes it easy to travel with and the big mirror allows you the convenience of not having to take an extra product with you. The sponge tip applicator that comes with the product isn't my first choice of product, and I probably wouldn't pick to use that, however they are decent if you really didn't have anything.

The palettes retail at £8.99 and can be found here or in Boots and Superdrug stores. I really like this palette and especially love that I can create a much loved day look with the gold and brown tones as well as having the deeper and more colourful shades to amp up the look for the evening. Sleek is a brand I have used in the past and drifted away from when branching into more brands and looking for more things to try and I always forget to go back, but this has definitely pushed me to go to a Sleek stand and see what they have to offer!
