Manuka doctor facial oil

The Manuka doctor facial oil was gifted to me by the beautiful Sherry over at Sherry scribbles when she organised a meal out at Thaikhun before christmas and the lovely people over at All beauty HQ sent this facial oil over to gift to us all as part of the goody bag. However, this does not change my opinions of the oil, it has just encouraged me to try a new product which I have no obligation to blog about. I am so bad at remembering facial oil, I have a couple in my collection and although I see the results when I use them they are a step that often gets left in my rush to wash my face and crawl into bed in as little time as possible. However in my quest to perfect a skin care routine I can stick to and the prompt of trying out some new skincare bits I have got I am seeing how my skin reacts to the TLC I am trying to give it.

The product comes in a lovely glass bottle with a dropper tool in the lid so it is easy to apply and dispense a small amount into your hands without having to pour the jar which I know I would make so much mess doing. The dropper is really easy to use and dispenses as much or as little product as you want it to. I usually use about 3 drops of the oil, rub it between my palms and smooth it over my face which is enough to cover my skin evenly.

The oil is a yellowish colour but looks clear when applied to the skin. I can't pin point the smell but it is not a smell I like, I don't find it horrible, it just smells a bit strange and I can't decided why I don't like it, but it doesn't deter me from using it so it ok. The oil is a mixture of ingredients including Manuka oil that is enriched with marula oil, jojoba oil, argan oil and rose hip oil. This has a good blend of oils which I have heard a lot of good things about and it has really hydrated my skin and made it feel smooth and looking flawless.

A little bit of the oil goes a long way which means the oil will last a really long time and is a really good staple in your face care routine that you wont have to run out and buy all the time and run out of as quickly as you would say a cleanser.

The oil is really lovely and smooths into the face easily and doesn't take long to absorb into the skin, and I apply my moisturiser not long after putting this on. I love the way my skin feels when I use this, and although it says you can use it morning and night my skin isn't overly dry so I find I only need to apply it at night to get the benefits from the oil, as well as knowing I can accidentally apply a little too much and it will absorb through the night, whereas in a morning it may affect my make u application if I get too over excited and apply too much!

The oil retails at £19.99 but you can get it on the All Beauty HQ website for £12.95 here at the time of me writing this post, as the price may change in the future. I really do like this oil and it is definitely one I would repurchase when I have run out of it, which based on how little I need each use, will be a long time off. I want to get some other facial oils to try out, to see how others compare to this, but I think if it wasn't for wanting to try them for review purpose I would be very content with this facial oil and wouldn't be looking to try any others for a while.
