OOTD: Hen do night in

I am very lucky to have a wonderful family who organised me a wonderful hen party last weekend, I was so grateful for the time and effort they had put into organising it and making it special for me, and I thought I would share with you what I wore to go out. I didn't want to be overdressed for the occasion, as I like to be comfy but thought a nice shirt, with some jeans and heels would work out well.

I recently got this cold shoulder shirt from Newlook, I loved it when it first came in store and never got around to picking it up, and then I popped in a week or so back and it was in the sale and I knew I had to grab it quick so I didn't miss out on it altogether. I love the cold shoulder detailing and I love the pattern and print, it looks so nice on and I feel like it will be a staple across the autumn and winter months in my wardrobe and outfit building. The cold shoulder was a little strange to get used to, having the seam of the shoulders part come half way down the top half of my arm did sometimes catch me off guard as I though something was touching my arm, but this is the first time I have ever wore one so I presumed it would feel odd.

My black skinny jeans were from Matalan, I have had these a while and really like them, they fit lovely and were exactly the style I was hoping for and were really good value to. I find they are the really dark and have kept their colour well even after several washes, and were really affordable too.

My shoes are from Irregular choice and are the Ascot style, they are a beautiful snake skin print, which is not normally to my taste, but in the beautiful iridescent blue they are a total show stopper in my opinion. I love the big bow on the front and they are so comfy, with the added sparkle of the glitter heel, I am eyeing these up in another colour as we speak!

My veil was from ebay and was bought by my cousin who organised the hen part for me, so I thought it would be lovely to have on on the outfit photos to really capture the essence of my evening out. I wanted to be comfy and still look nice so I decided a red lip would make a statement without adding too much to the outfit and I love the way the look came together.
