Hunter wellies kids metal silver

Yes, you read that right, kids! This is my second pair of wedding shoes I have. Having a December wedding means you have to be prepared to have snow, rain, mud or any other kind of horrible weather. I'm not suggesting it doesn't rain other times of year as I went to a June wedding where it really did rain a lot, however I feel we are most likely to get it in December!

I have a black pair of hunter wellies and know they are one of the comfiest wellies I have ever had, possibly even the comfiest shoes I have so I knew I was safe to rely on them for under my dress. I had to buy a pair of heels which would be the same height as the wellies to be able to have my dress altered to just one height of shoe, and you will have seen those in a previous post.

I was looking for something unique and fun and I really didn't know what I wanted until I spotted these in the sale on Schuh for just £48 meaning they wouldn't break the bank or go over budget for a second pair of shoes. Unfortunately they have sold out now but I risked ordering a kids 4 (I wear a 5) and was absolutely delighted to receive them and find they fit me perfectly!

I had seen loads of photos on Pinterest of people with winter weddings and wellies and I was sold! Not only for the photos but also for the warmth and dryness factor they will offer, and I have a floor length dress so even if I decide I don't want to have my wellies on show I can hide them with my dress, but also be sure I wont ruin a nice pair of wedding shoes that aren't designed to be in mud, puddles and snow if we get it!

These are so shiny and really lovely quality and will make a perfect accent in my wedding photos, with some funny ones as well as just offering general peace of mind for whatever the weather is. I am trying to convince my fiance that he needs some wellies too, but he isn't convinced however I think it will look quite fun and save him having to ruin a nice pair of formal shoes.

These are so comfy and they will look really pretty and glamorous on my wedding day, I don't feel like I have had to compromise on my wedding shoes (although this is a second pair and I do have a pair of heels) as I feel they still have the wow factor and I didn't just get a pair of plain boring wellies. The color is very metallic and I love them, they have the wow factor and will have a huge pop of color to my outfits when the wedding has past and I want to wear them again.

Overall I could not be happier with these, I would highly recommend Hunter wellies as a brand I have a black pair and love them and know they are comfy and perfect for winter. Definitely check out their range if you want to invest in some wellies.
